What is Infertility?
The couple is
considered to be infertile if they have not conceived after 12
months of unprotected intercourse, or after 6 months if the woman is
over 35 years of age or if there is incapability to carry a
pregnancy to term. Infertility affects about 15 % of couple.
1978 is the year when the first "test tube baby" was announced in
Manchester. The famous Louise Brown was delivered by Caesarian
Section , because her mother Lesley Brown was suffering from
pregnancy-induced hypertension in Oldham, District General
Hospital. Since than every year thousands and thousands of people
become parents, a reality they once thought was only a dream.
What can cause problems in falling pregnant? In approximately 35% of infertility cases the problem is male factor
(e.g. sperm dysfunction) and in about 40 % is a female problem
(e.g.. ovulation failure, blocked or damaged fallopian tubes). The
remaining 25% cases are due to joint factors or the cause is unknown
(idiopathic).
Woman's infertility may be caused by failure of the ovaries to
develop (e.g.. Turner syndrome), endometriosis, abnormal development
of the uterus, pelvic inflammatory disease, venereal infections of
the Fallopian tubes (e.g.. gonorrhea , Chlamydia), hormonal
imbalances, and in rare cases a reaction to the husband's sperm can
develop.
Strangely, infrequent sexual intercourse, due to both parents
having career, life or study stresses is sometimes the cause.
It may be all too easy to miss those few days a month when the woman
is fertile if you are only having sex every few weeks.
Also remember that fertility is a joint property, so both partners
responsible for the outcome. One third of infertility is due to the
male partner. Men's infertility may be caused by premature
ejaculation, undescended testes, injury to the testicles, venereal
infection in the past, mumps infection of the testes, chromosome
abnormalities and hormonal disorders. All these can cause problems
making sperm - producing too few sperm or none at all or problems
with sperm ability to reach egg and fertilize it - abnormal sperm
shape or structure prevent it from moving correctly.
The connection between overweight and infertility is well known in
both sexes . New research has found that every nine extra kilos of
body weight means that a man chances of getting infertile are
enhanced by 10%.
Other factors that reduce fertility in both sexes
are: smoking, alcohol intake, pesticide exposure and age.

Increase Your Fertility Naturally
In my new book I described methods
for getting pregnant naturally that have been ignored by most
medical professionals (many doctors may not have even heard of them,
because they are too busy focusing on drugs and surgical treatment).
But in reality, these natural methods work well on most of women.
Plus they are harmless and have no side effects.
Here are 12 Compelling Reasons for
You To Read my book:
Because you will learn the pregnancy methods you can use yourself at
home, which work naturally without any side effects, pain or
discomfort.
Because you will discover the strategies of getting pregnant from
women who have had medical problems but succeeded in having a baby
despite all of their problems.
Because we don't just giving you a kind of "secret to get pregnant'.
We show you that for different women's situations there are specific
ways to get pregnant. So, you will have a chance to see your own
ways and methods for getting pregnant.
Because you will be shown how to get pregnant in case of unexplained
infertility in older women and know the exact time for you to try.
Because after reading these books you will avoid going under general
or local anesthetic to perform surgical procedures like IVF,
Intracystoplasmic Sperm Injection, Zygote Intrafallopian Trasfer and
the like.
Because you will avoid all the complications related to these highly
invasive procedures.
Because you will be able to live a more harmonies life as a woman,
as a wife and as a mother using the energy of your own cycles. You
learn to use the cycle's energy instead of letting this energy
dominate you.
You'll learn what makes some women get pregnant and have a baby
easier than others although both have the same medical problems.
You'll learn the first things you MUST do before you start on your
way to getting pregnant and having a baby.
You'll learn why doing things incorrectly can stop you from having a
baby at all and how to avoid them.
Because you will learn what does it mean by "old" sperm and "old"
egg and how they can affect your fertility cycles. (These things
have nothing to do with your biological age or the age of your
partner).
Because you'll discover there are proper ways to conceive, hence
avoiding miscarriage and increase your chances of full term
pregnancy.
The 12th reason is very important for people who are trying to
conceive again after the disappointment of a miscarriage. You can
stop miscarriages form happening just by using special methods which
I describe in my book. They are easy to understand and implement.

What are the simple things
you can do to increase your chances to get pregnant:
1.
Make sure that you are ovulating and identify the time
when you are ovulating. Ovulation is the time when your ovaries releases an egg, and your chances
of getting pregnant during this time are the highest they can be. So, if you
have sex as often as possible during this time your chances to
conceive significantly rises.
Most women ovulate on 14th day of
their menstrual period (you should calculate from the 1st day of
your last menstruation). But it varies, depends on individual and
your
situation at the time (stress or illness
can change the ovulation time).
How to check your ovulation time?
Simply take your Basal Body Temperature every day and record it as a
graph. Basal Body Temperature is body temperature taken first thing
in the morning before you get up (should be taken at the same time
each morning, around 6-7 a.m.). During the ovulation your
Basal Body Temperature rises
by 0.5 Celsius or 1 Fahrenheit. Look at the graph as an
example of temperature charting.
So, when the temperature rise occurs
you should have sex frequently to increase your chances of getting
pregnant.
2. Abstain from sex 2-3 days before
ovulation starts (e.g. if ovulation starts on 14th day, abstain from
sex on 11th, 12th and 13th days). This sex abstinence helps to built
up more sperm and increase its concentration, which is necessary for
conception to occur.
3. Try to relax more, as relaxation
relieves stress (stress is detrimental for fertility).
4. Watch what you eat. For better
fertility it is recommended to have a good balance diet : lean meat,
grains, beans, vegetables, tofu, fish and eggs. Try to have fresh
fruits and vegetables every day.
5. If you are overweight- lose weight.
Losing weight will increase your fertility significantly.
6.Exercise is important for stress
management, losing weight (for those who overweight)
and for general well being. This pre-conception care concerning yourself
and your partner will improve your chances to conceive and have a
healthy baby.

Do you really want that
little bundle of joy??? If the answer is Yes: Read on.
Hypnosis has given birth
to new hope for infertile couples. In 1995 there were 2.1 million
married couples who sought help conceiving through various methods.
This represented 7.1 percent of the population, many of which are
now parents after having turned to hypnosis for help. These couples
have found that the odds of conceiving through currently available
medical interventions are greatly increased when they put mind over
matter.
There are many incidences where infertile couples (defined as those
who have tried unsuccessfully to conceive for at least a year)
finally have a baby or adopt just to find out they were expecting
another baby without really “trying.” This is usually attributed to
the fact that once they have one baby the couple, and especially the
mother, is able to relax. Hypnosis brings upon that level of
relaxation about conception before the first child enters the
family.
Recent scientific studies have confirmed that hypnosis aids
infertile couples in conceiving. The normal rate of conception is
about 20 percent with in-vitro fertilization. When hypnosis is added
to the mix, that rate jumps to between 42 and 55 percent.

Breaking News
Soaking in the tub may reduce men's fertility, say
US researchers.
Findings from a three-year study support current advice that men
should avoid 'overheating' their sperm.
Sperm counts in five of 11 men with fertility problems soared by
491% after they stopped having baths or using the hot tub for a few
months.
Other research has shown heat from laptop use and wearing tight
underwear can reduce fertility the Journal of the Brazilian Society
of Urology reports.
The researchers from the University of California, San Francisco,
said although it had been believed for decades that 'wet heat' could
damage fertility, there had been very little research.
"These activities can be comfortably added to that list of lifestyle
recommendations and 'things to avoid' as men attempt to conceive"
Dr Paul Turek
Men attending a fertility clinic who were exposed to more than 30
minutes per week of 'wet heat' through hot baths, Jacuzzis or hot
tubs, were recruited to the study.
After three to six months of staying out of the bath, just under
half the men showed dramatic five-fold improvement in sperm count.

What can your partner do for
increasing sperm count and sperm motility?
Traditional medicine does not provide
any drug for this purpose, but
you can try natural methods , which proved to be helpful to some
men.
- Vitamin C is thought to increase the
number and speed of the sperm. Take 500 mg twice a day.
-Arginine . This amino acid can improve
sperm count and motility. Take 4000mg a day. Do not take Arginine
unless under supervision of your medical doctor. Do not take
Arginine if you have Genital Herpes or if you are using lysine
supplements.
-Zink. Low sperm count can be
boosted with Zinc . Take it 30 mg a day for 4 months.
-Astragalus. This herb can
improve sperm motility. You should follow
recommendations on the label. See side ad for products that have had amazing results on my
patients.
